Do not go out during Solar and Lunar Eclipse
During the solar and lunar eclipse, pregnant women do not go out. It is believed that if a pregnant woman sees the eclipse, its direct effect falls on the physical and mental health of the child. Because of which the baby is born with red marks. After birth, there is possibility of physical disability in the child’s body.
Don’t Use Sharp things during Eclipse
During pregnancy, pregnant women should not use any sharp thing such as knives, scissors, needles etc. It is also said in the scriptures that not only pregnant women but also their husbands, avoid these things at this time. It is believed that by doing so, his or her limbs can be harmed.
Avoid eating foods during Solar and Lunar Eclipse
Pregnant women should not eat any food made during this time of eclipse. It is said that the harmful rays falling at this time contaminate food. In such cases if food is cooked at home then immediately put basil leaves in it. Remove them after the eclipse is over. By doing this, the food remains pure even after eclipse.
Take a bath after Solar and Lunar Eclipse
It is believed that after the Solar and Lunar eclipse is over, pregnant woman should definitely take bath or else her infant may have skin related problems. To avoid the negative effects of eclipse, the pregnant woman should chant Hanuman Chalisa and Durga praise by placing Tulsi leaf on the tongue.
